MY STORY
I was trying to build a life that gave my family more options
I started in pharmacy at 18 and spent years building a traditional career. When the leadership role I had worked toward was eliminated, I realized that professional experience alone didn’t always create security or choice.
Becoming a mom changed the question again. I wanted to continue supporting my family, but I also wanted to be present for my girls and gradually build income and ownership beyond a salary.
Writing began after we unexpectedly lost Biffie, our first baby and beloved dog. Real estate and entrepreneurship grew from my desire to create more flexibility and breathing room. Software became another way to turn what I had learned into practical tools that could help more people.
None of it happened through one perfect plan. It grew from trying to make thoughtful decisions about work, family, meaning, and what kind of life we wanted to build.
